[HOT NEWS – JOY ID – HOSPITAL MOVED TO FINAL ROUND OF ASEAN HFA CONTEST]

After getting into the final round of the AI Solution Contest, the Joy ID team has once more proved the innovation and applicability of the solution Joy ID – Hospital when excellently getting into the final pitch of the ASEAN – Healthcare Fintech Alliance Innovation Challenge. The contest was organized by Alibaba Cloud, Fintech Academy, and Pfizer with multiple contestant teams from several ASEAN countries.
Joy ID team gave the best presentation to get through the first screening round to the semi-final round of HFA, and excellently became one of the finalists of this contest. Especially, Joy ID became the only representative from Vietnam to the Final Pitch with other countries in the ASEAN area.

The Healthcare Fintech Alliance is set to spur the development of tech-driven innovations in the Asian emerging markets region with the aim to create a healthcare technological ecosystem to support startups in both the fields of healthcare and fintech.

Challenge #1:  To maximize the reach and efficiency of Patient Support Program via technological applications

In an ordinary PSP process, patients and/or their healthcare providers need to submit an application before they receive financial support through the PSP.  This process is lengthy and complex and the variation of PSP offered by different pharmaceutical companies may diminish the efficiencies of PSP overall. The expected deliverables to the above challenge include quality outcomes by applying the latest technology to improve patient access to innovative medicines.

Challenge #2: To expand access and affordability to medicines and quality healthcare via Innovative Financing  

Access and affordability to innovative medicines and quality healthcare are some of the most significant challenges to populations around the world and in emerging markets. To ensure everyone gets the opportunity to live healthier lives, creative partnerships focusing on driving innovative financing are essential to provide holistic solutions for patients and their families. Redefine resources needed and pathways to build sustainable solutions that empower patients to access innovative medicines and quality healthcare.
